Saturday was a day-off for the athletes, who are taking part in the World championship of modern pentathlon Youth “A” in Albena. For the free time, the hosts have organized a trip to Balchik. Coaches and athletes from almost all teams in Albena took part in the excursion.

 They visited the Botanic garden, maintained by students and professors of the Faculty of Biology of the oldest high school in Bulgaria – Sofia University “Kliment Ohridski”. After that, they visited the historical palace, built for the Romanian queen Maria at the time when this part of Bulgaria, known as South Dobrudja, was a Romanian territory.
