Mr. Schormann awarded the champions
Mr. Klaus Schormann awarded the champions of the World Championship of modern pentathlon Youth “A” in Albena.
In the girls competition, Margaux Isaksen from USA won the gold medal with 4532 points. On the second place is Sarlota Kovacs from Hungary with 4496 points, third is Janine Kohlmann from Germany with 4456 points.
In the team competition, Hungary (Sarlota Kovacs, Adrienn Toth and Anita Horvath) won the first place with 12960 points. Second is the team of the United Kingdom (Freyja Prentise, Kate French and Lydia Rosling) with 12684 points, third is Germany (Janine Kohlmann, Annika Schleu and Sandy Strauss) with 12586 points.

By the boys, the big surprise came from Hungary. The gold medal was won by Bence Demeter with an overall score of 4524 points. With his impressive running, he managed to beat James Cooke’s score of 4512 points and left him on the second place. The bronze medal is for Soengjin Kim from South Korea (4468 points).

The team competition by the boys was won by Hungary (Bence Demeter, Szabolcs Biro and Gergely Demeter) with an overall score of 13076 points. They are followed by Russia (Roman Kolesnikov, Ruslan Diyachkov and Pavel Ilyashenko) with 13076 and the United Kingdom with 12796 points.
